Photofriday : COUNTRY

Through the old chicken coop window (now where sweet kittens claim their home) on my mothers' homestead.
This farm is one of my favourite places on earth - it has history, family, fresh air (well - depends where you stand), decay & lots of new life.

The Blues
After a fight between siblings, I grabbed my camera to take a photo of a very upset teary-eyed face. To my disappointment I forgot to readjust my WB & it turned out all blue. Before erasing it on the camera, I remembered this week's photofriday challenge theme of 'blue'. How appropriate!

(This image breaks my heart!)

photofriday theme: blessing (s)

My 2 delightful daughters - on my youngest's special Baptism day.
Another blessing is that my mother actually handmade the gorgeous gown (complete with embroidery & beading.) A true work of art - a blessing to have a talented & loving grammy for them.

Photo Friday theme: HEAT

Nothing combats the heat of a scorching summer day better than jumping in cold water .... even better when you are wearing your street clothing ! (& with your beloved big sister.)

Photo Friday theme: SKY

Probably lots of interesting sunsets & sunrises for this theme. This one may stand out due to the framing by the trees .... oh, & of course, the interesting cloud formation doesn't hurt!

Photofriday theme : SISTERS

This is taken from the Christmas card that we made & gave out.

*THEY wanted to be angels,
*THEY decided what to wear (colour was removed later),
*THEY helped choose the image & OK the final version,
*THEY chose the colours of the stars (cropped out here) &
*THEY assisted in picking the font.

The card turned out beautiful, mostly because it was a group effort & seeing it brings back wonderful memories!
